For a class project we had to choose a scene from a movie and replace all of the audio in that scene. I chose a scene from the movie "Interstellar". This was a great scene to work on because it was an important scene of the movie and had many different aspects I could work with, which included getting sound FX for the space ship, space (even though there's no sound in outer space, there is sound in outer space in movies!) characters and their actions, ADR for each character which included a robot, and music that matched the feeling and emotion of the scene. Bringing all these pieces together to create the environment that the movie is in was a challenging process. It was important to understand what was going on, the climax, and the emotion that the story was telling to get the audio to match that and bring the audience into the experience.
